Piandirena Zeolite Toscana has its roots in the 1950s, when the Società Cava Piandirena was born in Sorano, in the province of Grosseto. The small mining activity grows year after year, expanding in the period of the economic boom to become an essential point of reference in the production of tuff blocks for the construction of upper Lazio, Umbria and the whole of Tuscany.
